Kumar Sangakkara 2011 MCC Spirit of Cricket Cowdrey fully Conference Rewrite
Posted by org at 10:30 AMKumar Sangakkara made a speech exceptional for its Spirit of Cricket Conference 2011MCC Cowdrey, playing history, culture and OPPORTUNITIES Sri Lankan cricket and a moving account of the terrorist attack on their bus in Pakistan.
First I would like to sincerely thank the MCC for giving me the opportunity and the great honor of delivering the Cowdrey 2011 Conference.
I was in India after the World Cup, when my manager called to convey the message that CMJ was trying to contact me to see if I would like to offer this year's conference.
I was initially given the doubts that would be in the midst of the current ODI series, but after reflection, I realized it was an invitation that should not reject. Be the first to be invited Sri Lanka was not only a great honor for me but for my countrymen.
So I had to choose my topic. I suspect that many of you might have expected to choose one of the many topics discussed today with energy - the role of technology, game management, the future of Test cricket, and the curse of corruption especially the establishment of place.
