Lone Star could not have lasted the last two episodes, but its star James Wolk will be back on the small screen.

Wolk has made an arc of several episodes of next season's hour-long drama shameless Showtime. Adam will play an executive of the investment that makes a connection with Fiona (Emmy Rossum).

Wolk, who last appeared in you, and it was an advantage in the ABC pilot of Georgetown, is repped by Scott Henderson in WME.

Lone Star Fox, which focused on a man (Wolk) living a double life, was canceled after two episodes of low ratings despite critical acclaim. Several team members of Lone Star have since reached new shows: the creator Kyle Killen is working at the entrance to NBC's midseason, Awake, Eloise Mumford was released in new ABC series Deklin Marcos River and in GCB (Christian rather Belles), also of ABC.
