Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) activists protested Monday against two theaters here showing the latest Aamir Khan production "Delhi Belly" because of "vulgar and objectionable" content, police said.
The management was forced to cancel shows in the afternoon.
More than 50 activists angry NCP, led by local corporators Pharat Gaondi Anil and Prakash, created ruccus Padma and Parvati in the cinemas in the sample in the evening had begun.
They shouted slogans, tore off movie posters and placards and tried to break into the local theater, demanding cancellation of the show.
His anger was also directed to the Censor Board, which they had cleared unpleasant dialogue, explicit sex scenes and the song "DK Bose."
The protesters demanded the removal of the song, dialogue and explicit scenes offensive for reasons that corrupt the minds of young people, especially college students, who have been queuing up to see the movie.
