Synopsis:

Opening on a beach of the island town of Port Gamble, a blind resident discovers a rotting zombie washed up in the sand.

Frida Abbas (Janette Armand) is a teenage Irianian-American girl has returned to Port Gamble, her home town after dropping out of Princeton University. She runs into her neighbor, Joe Miller, at the local gas station which he runs with his wife, Judy, and their teenage son, Brian. The family refers to her as Iraqi, much to Frida' confusion.

Meanwhile, the token gay couple, Tom Hunt (Doug Fahl) and Lance Murphy (Cooper Hopkins) arrive in Port Gamble to tell Tom's mother that he is gay. While Tom and Lance explore town, many island residents appear to have been zombified, including a police officer. Frida arrives at her house to find her father, Ali, praying. Ali has a lecturing argument to Frida about being more proud of her Iranian heritage. Frida sneaks out of the house with her boyfriend, Derek (Ryan Barret).

Synopsis:

The film opens up with a tight close up of a very old woman on her deathbed in the hospital. Theres a terrible storm raging outside the window. Clearly in pain, the old woman is struggling to speak and her daughter (Julia Ormond) is at her bedside. We can tell the mother is at the end of her life because when she cries out in pain and her daughter fetches the nurse, the nurse tells her that she can have as much pain medication as she wants. The daughter has come to say goodbye to her mother, but their relationship seems strained. The woman asks in a feeble voice for her daughter to bring her a diary from her belongings and to read it to her. The diary looks like a journal with tickets and photographs glued to the pages. The daughter begins reading from the diary and it turns out to be the story of Benjamin Button.

The story begins with the old woman, Daisy, reminiscing about a blind clockmaker who built a clock for Grand Central Terminal in New York. While he was building the clock, his only son goes off to war (WWI) and dies in battle. Through his grief, he continues building the clock. The reveal of the clock is a major event with President Theodore Roosevelt in attendance.

Synopsis:

The film opens in France, in 1641. The Scotsman Klan McCullen has been accused of selling weaponry to both the Scots and French. Synopsis:

Mel Gibson's well-publicized production The Passion of the Christ concerns the last 12 hours in the life of Jesus of Nazareth. The dialogue is spoken in the ancient Aramaic language, along with Latin and Hebrew. Synopsis:

Sometime in future Japan, androids have been involved in every aspect of peoples lives. Synopsis:

Synopsis:

Synopsis:

Once there, it becomes obvious that this isn’t the wholesome family unit that the girls’ new stepmother wishes it was. Disturbing and seemingly unexplainable events happen and it soon becomes impossible to tell whether it is the sisters’ unstable mental health, the cruel mind games played by the step mother, or the dark presence of a supernatural force which is at work within the house.

Synopsis:

This film is a '90s version of the classic Robin Hood story, with Kevin Costner starring as the good-guy thief. Costner is joined in his efforts against the murdering Sheriff of Nottingham (Alan Rickman) by Morgan Freeman who plays a philosophizing Moor, and by Nick Brimble, who plays Little John (anything but little). After Robin barely survives a watery skirmish with Little John, the two become allies and Robin joins forces with Little John's band of robber thieves to overcome the evils of the dastardly Nottingham sheriff.

Synopsis:

Hard Candy director David Slade took the helm for this adaptation of Steve Niles' terrifying comic-book series of the same name. In Barrow, AK, one night can last an eternity. One month every year, this town is plunged into darkness for 30 days due to its location far north of the Arctic Circle. Synopsis:
