The Delhi High Court has asked the CBI to respond to the request for an NRI is seeking compensation of Rs 5,000 crore for implicating him in criminal proceedings for 25 years.
Justice Ajit Bharihoke issued notice to the CBI and sought the answer on 27 September on the plea NS Hoon, also seeks action against erring officials of the investigating agency harassment for such a long time.

Hoon said he had been suffering mental and physical agony of the last 25 years and he should be compensated financially.
"I was arrested on May 14, 1987, despite an order of anticipatory bail for me in the Delhi High Court and took my passport for so long that causes huge losses to my business abroad" said Hoon.
He said the court had acquitted of all charges under the Aliens Act in January.
According to ICC, Hoon had concealed his identity as a British citizen while in two different hotels, in 1986-1987, which constitutes a crime under the law.
The CBI alleged during his stay at the Hotel Ambassador in New Delhi, the petitioner had paid the hotel rate of 400 rupees, which would have paid in pounds sterling as the UK citizen. ..........http://kannaangel.blogspot.com updates
Similarly, had stayed at the hotel in Jaipur Hakman and cleared the hotel bills amounting to 8. 000 rupees in Indian rupees, which constitutes an offense under the Immigration Act, according to prosecutors.
