At 11:00 a.m. today, Tropical Storm "KABAYAN" has maintained its strength as it continues to move northward.
Tropical Storm "Kabayan" is estimated based on satellite and surface data at 980 km East of Casiguran, Aurora (17.1°N, 132.6eg;E) with maximum sustained winds of 175 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 210 kph.
Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said that Tropical Storm "Juaning" is moving North at 7 kph.

Tuesday morning: 1,060 km East Northeast of Aparri, Cagayan
Wednesday morning: 990 km Northeast of Basco, Batanes

This weather disturbance is too far to directly affect any part of the country.
Estimated rainfall amount is from 10 - 25 mm per hour within the 800 km diameter of the typhoon.
Meanwhile, an Active Low Pressure Area (ALPA) was estimated to be at 250 km West Southwest of Sinait, Ilocos Sur (17.0°N, 118.0°E), which is expected to bring moderate to heavy rains over the western section of Central and Northern Luzon which may trigger flashfloods and landslides.
