According to the Genetics Home Reference, Angelman Syndrome is a "complex genetic disorder that primarily affects the nervous system." And, surprisingly, one of the symptoms of this disease is not something that happens to be a sign of a problem: happiness. The doctor asked him if the son of Farrell was always smiling, which apparently is a trait that has Angelman Syndrome.

In Aol.com, Farrell is a video explaining the conditions of his son. Luckily, her son is quite high functioning and is a guy very, very happy. Farrell also said that he can not be too concerned with the diagnosis of her son, because he is always smiling and happy. ....http://kannaangel.blogspot.com

To donate to the cause and help find a cure, you can go to the healing of Angelman. There you can also find more information about the disease and what is the foundation.

Hopefully by Farrell opened the world to share his story about his son, most people can understand what is Angelman Syndrome, and will do more to help support research for this rare disorder.
