According to the Genetics Home Reference, Angelman Syndrome is a "complex genetic disorder that primarily affects the nervous system." Most times, is associated with signs and symptoms of cerebral palsy, although the two diseases are very different. Angelman Syndrome is very rare, affecting only 1 in 20,000 people.
.....http://kannaangel.blogspot.com
And, surprisingly, one of the symptoms of this disease is not something that happens to be a sign of a problem: happiness. The doctor asked him if the son of Farrell was always smiling, which apparently is a trait that has Angelman Syndrome.
In Aol.com, Farrell is a video explaining the conditions of his son. Luckily, her son is quite high functioning and is a guy very, very happy. Farrell also said that he can not be too concerned with the diagnosis of her son, because he is always smiling and happy. ....http://kannaangel.blogspot.com
To donate to the cause and help find a cure, you can go to the healing of Angelman. There you can also find more information about the disease and what is the foundation.
Hopefully by Farrell opened the world to share his story about his son, most people can understand what is Angelman Syndrome, and will do more to help support research for this rare disorder.

Aided and abetted by the writer and director John Michael McDonagh, Mr. Gleeson grabs early film and run. The scene opens in a speeding car full of red, ring pump, which runs right past the sergeant. Gerry Boyle (Mr. Gleeson) parked at the roadside quite, peaceful country. The car is going fast enough to remove the trees, but not an inch in the fleshy Boyle, moves in front of totem its apparent sleep disturbed only by the crisis and the explosion of a tremendous shock. He opened his eyes and lazily, like a lizard in the sun drunk, wakes up and goes to the wreckage, after which picks the pockets of a dead man and drops its acid. "I do not think your mommy," punishing his body, "will be very happy with it now."
If you are looking for a little sentimental Irishman, look elsewhere or, indeed, just wait. Alternately charming and charmless, Boyle worked as a representative of the law (specifically a Garda on duty in Gaelic), a part of County Galway who looks like a tourist's dream. Appearances can be deceiving (one of the lessons of the film), although drug trafficking and murder and foul the air and complicate the narrative. Boyle not so much break the law than his own, hiring prostitutes for sport out of school and ignoring the subtleties of routine monitoring. He is an independent self-anointed who loves the sound of bombs dirty words in the morning, afternoon and night, but also takes care of his ailing mother (Fionnula Flanagan).
Along with tickle the ear with their words, long strings of expletives and the syntax unusual, Mr. McDonagh gives a lot to do. Boyle sleeps in a room deep green color, and has a matching robe, and questions suspects in a police room vibrates with Yves Klein blue. The clashes of color - as Boyle insults - shake the film and its system of both. The results are vaguely reminiscent of late 1960, early in the 1970 gangster film, though filtered through Steven Soderbergh as movies (This is a feature of Mr. McDonagh's directorial debut and should stick to his team of "Out of Sight.": The director of photography Larry Smith, production designer John Paul Kelly and costume designer Eimer Ni Mhaoldomhnaigh.)

Amongst Hollywood's chief weapons are superheroes, Nazis and recycled ideas, so "Captain America: The First Avenger" represents the state-of-the-summer-art.
Rated TB for "Tween Boy," this brisk World War II adventure is a half step up from most of the comic book-inspired features that have cluttered our cineplexes in recent months and years.
That's fitting, because this comic began with more of an agenda than most. Created by writer Joe Simon and artist "Jack Kirby" (Jacob K), the first issue of "Captain America" appeared in March 1941, nine months before the United States entered the war. But the cover showed the hero slugging Adolf Hitler.
Unlike most comic-book flicks not featuring Batman, the script by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely requires a leading man who has some power of acting. Although he may be best known from yet another superhero franchise, as the Fantastic 4's Johnny Storm, Chris Evans exhibits the necessary skills.
CLICK FOR CAPTAIN AMERICA TRAILER
While buff best pal Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan) gets the ladies, Steve catches the eye of sane scientist Abraham Erskine. A German émigré hoping to build a better world but willing to settle for a super soldier, Erskine is charmingly played by Stanley Tucci as though he suspects he's really in a Mel Brooks movie.
Erskine has anticipated our steroid era and soon sticks willing volunteer Steve full of precious body-building fluids, then slaps him into a metal sarcophagus to be bombarded with manta rays, or something.
From labs to factories, motorcycles to planes, the imaginary and inexplicable 1940s technology is another highlight of this movie, with Rick Heinrichs heading the production design team. Today, the look might be called Light Steampunk, but since this in set 70 years ago, Retro Futurism will have to do. (Characters even perform the neat trick of visiting the 1939 World's Fair in 1942.)
Even as Erskine and his team work for the Allies, though, the forces of evil have assembled their own tech team, albeit more mystically oriented. The always reliable Hugo Weaving is in fine form as their leader, Johann Schmidt, a mastermind so diabolical that he cannot abide Nazi inefficiency.

'Dexter' Manny Coto de Harlan Ellison, mesh and cloning of William Shatner
0 comments Posted by org at 8:19 PMWith hundreds of thousands of people attending San Diego Comic-Con every year and July 20 to 24 event kicking off this week, The Hollywood Reporter spoke with the biggest names in television to talk about their favorite memories and tips attending the annual event. THR Live Feed Comic-Con talk with actors, writers and producers in the days before the event to go before the interviews and the latest news on the panels and projections.
Manny Coto
Geek Cred: Dexter, 24, Star Trek: Enterprise, The Outer Limits
Comic-Con panel: Dexter (Showtime show) Thursday, 5:30-7:30 pm, Room 20.
THR: What is one thing that stands out from his first Comic-Con?
Coto: I have been going on and off since the 80's. My first group was 24. But I do remember walking down a hallway and the search for Harlan Ellison, one of my favorite science fiction writers, stand, describing in great detail his recent open heart surgery and showing the scar. Fans only ate a little.
THR: What is the best thing a fan has said to you at Comic-Con?
Coto: I found Season 4 Star Trek: Enterprise and the best we've heard from fans is: "The season of Enterprise was the best season of all the Star Treks," which always makes my heart warm . I started as a fan of Star Trek, and to be able to work in the series was a great honor.
Comic-Con 2011: Full Coverage THR
THR: Who throws the best party?
Coto: The Showtime is my favorite. Dexter last year was just a big party. It's a great atmosphere at the top of the roof, overlooking the city. And I can smoke cigars there, so it was fun.
THR: What makes for a good presentation?
Coto: Remember that the fans want to hear things in the series because they do not want to hear complaints and grouses about his personal life. What I really want to hear is how the series was done and how it relates to his castmates. Throw out as many interesting facts you can about how the series actually works and works. It is also always good to have funny stories to tell while you're there. I think many times people go there and I do not remember that we are there to entertain.
THR: What questions do you recommend that fans do for the panels?
Coto: "Why did you mess up X Season" "What were you thinking when you wrote that episode?" Keep a positive attitude.
THR: What advice would you give to Comic-Con newbies?
Coto: Do not dress, unless you look good in tights. Is it a real self-worth on their physical condition: "Do I really look like Captain America or as a nightmare version of a person of Captain America in this team?" There are children there, and wants to leave people with a positive experience. As a real kind of self-awareness of his own physical body and the type, and try to use deodorant as much as possible.
THR: What special group to queue all day for?
Coto: I wait in line for anything to do with Doctor Who. And Ray Bradbury.
THR: If you could create your dream panel, which would be in it?
Coto: I would be William Shatner, Leonard Nimoy, Jon Voight, Kiefer Sutherland. A little something for everyone.
THR: Have you ever dressed up?
Coto: No, but I dress my son. Last year was over and went as Captain James T. Kirk. Kirk was a little onesie and indeed it seemed that he imagines a young Kirk: has blond hair and looked very similar to Kirk, and he has lots of photos.
THR: If you could be a writer in any show, in addition to Dexter, what would it be?
Coto: Doctor Who. My fantasy is, if I was not in Dexter I would move my family to London and work for the BBC's Doctor Who.
THR: If you could restart any program, what would it be?
Coto: I reboot Star Trek, a young William Shatner. William Shatner clone: If I start now, 15 years, we would have a young Kirk. Somebody needs to talk with Shatner to make DNA a little before his death, since it is not so far in terms of geeks. Fifteen years is a long time, 15 years will be here before we know it and we could have a young Captain Kirk. Do you think my wife would agree to carry to term? That's interesting. Honey?
THR: What are three things you would do if you have run any other program?
Coto: I only see a couple of things right now: Doctor Who - and I would not trade it for Doctor Who - A Game of Thrones and slaughter. Three things I'd do A Game of Thrones: I a) do not kill Sean Bean b) Do not kill Sean Bean, and c) get the winter here a little earlier.
THR: How will Edward James Olmos in the figure of Dexter this season?
Coto: Dexter going to rock world in a way similar to Season 4. Dexter is going to have to confront a villain who has absolutely faced. It has become the death of Rita, and returned to his old self. So ironic sensibility is back, but we're also taking the show to the next level and will be a great season storm.

I feel the same way about the final destination. It is not really a movie, or rather, not a real movie, but it is a hugely entertaining carnival ride elaborate, three-dimensional bloodshed. It's hard to say if the filmmakers took the 3-D as a license to avoid things like history and performance, but beyond the narrative does not exist and uninspired acting, kills is perfectly orchestrated to deliver a harrowing, laughter inducing Gore, splashing back into the audience through 3-D glasses.
The story assumes that you know the drill by now. A group of attractive young women survive some horrible accident thanks to a premonition of chance, only to be psychic pursued by the unstoppable force of death that so ironically avoided. The type of mythology that used to carry an entire movie to figure out now is communicated by a character saying: "We stayed up all night looking at Google and premonitions of death and it works like this ... "The Final Destination begins with a group of friends at a NASCAR event, one of them, Nick has the vision required of an accident causing epic as unlikely a series of explosions that killed tens of grinding, cutting, burning, impalement and decapitation of the errant tire. And, of course, all this happens through some extremely in-your-face 3-D. The vision ends, the group runs out, taking with them some other survivors, and spent 80 minutes following re-kill them in dynamic, if somewhat repetitive forms.

Lowe, who began modeling at age two, didn't find out that Rossdale was her biological father until a 2004 paternity test proved it. No comment yet from dad about Lowe's plans to pose in the buff.
It should be noted that Lowe has already appeared in a somewhat scantily-clad British GQ spread and a quick Google image search reveals plenty of NSFW pix of the obviously uninhibited Lowe, who has been described in the past as the "British Zooey Deschanel" (just to clarify: She and Deschanel share a resemblance, not a propensity to pose nude).
Lowe has been dating "Dr. Who" actor Matt Smith since meeting him at the 2010 Coachella music festival.

Williams just scored his second goal of the season when he threw a shot over a defensive wall on a restart free kick. The ball came out of the left glove of goalkeeper Kevin Hartman Dallas and ran through the baseline to give Salt Lake a 1-0 lead.
"It's always important to get the first goal - especially at home," said Williams. "They were sitting behind the whole game and looking for a counterattack. I think we did a good job during the first half in eliminating their chances in the future."
The goal brought to life in Dallas the offensive and began to press the attack in the second half wore on. Salt Lake made some defensive works very well to keep the lead. Chris Wingert came up with a spectacular stop in the 85th minute when he blocked a shot off the line of Jackson just as it seemed the Dallas midfielder could play a goalkeeper Nick Rimando with out of position.
Salt Lake, Tony Beltran said that his team had possession of the ball most of the time as one of the reasons for its ability to increase defense.
"They were defending a lot of the game, so I'm not sure how they are feeling," Beltran said. "I know personally if I am defending for long periods of time is very tiring. Is more tiresome to have the ball."
Espindola sealed the win when he sent a shot past Hartman in the final minute of added time and buried it in the right corner of the net.
The result was exactly what needed to Salt Lake to keep pace with teams like Dallas and Los Angeles Galaxy in the race for the Supporters Shield 'awarded to the MLS team with the best regular season record.
"We said before the game that this was a very important game for us," said Salt Lake coach Jason Kreis. "Probably the largest we have had this season against what I think is definitely the team that is in the best shape right now. A positive. I do not care about the outcome. To get three points against them was very important to us. "
Neither offense could break into the first half. Salt Lake frequently attacked, but only intermittently scoring opportunities created.
The best chance of getting on the scoreboard came in the 18th minute when Alvaro Saborio located a bounce pass from Kyle Beckerman. Saborio took a piece of the ball with his head in the rebound at the far post. His touch was good, but just hooked the ball away from the pole.
FC Dallas had a chance in the 40th minute when Jackson struck a shot from 40 meters that Rimando had to stop over the crossbar.

That could be a selling point for some people to see this reinvention of what happened in England after King John signed the Magna Carta. I do not.
"300" will be remembered, starring Gerard Butler in a striking visual narration of the position of the Spartans against the invading Persians. The blood came out digitally generated impressive amputees members turned in slow motion, and dialogue on democracy wincingly bad rang hollow.
However, "300" is still a better film than "Ironclad", which copies everything.
History tells us the Magna Carta is the document that gave the rights of people and reduced the power of the king in 1215 AD It is considered the foundation of democracy in England.
In "Ironclad", King John (Paul Giamatti) is supremely annoying to be forced to give up any of his powers. Now he is using Danish mercenaries come after your enemies and ditch the paper.
A small group of Knights Templar, the secret church organization appears in "The Da Vinci Code" next to the expressions of Archbishop John's aluminum frame. Its mission is to conduct a house key to keep the king's army to move north, while the archbishop asks France for help.
Our heroes are led by Barcelona, a noble spirit (Brian Cox) and Thomas (James Purefoy), a veteran of the Crusades, which is haunted by his terrible past and has to be talked into taking up the sword again .
They reach the castle just before the king and enclosed with his master complain, Cornhill (Derek Jacobi). He is married to a much younger beauty (Kate Mara), but she is not doing any action by the elderly. She quickly sets her sights on Thomas.
This is the Middle Ages, this is a thoroughly unpleasant place. Catapults throw stones and fireballs. Warriors of the scale castle walls, just to the boiling oil on them. Arrows fly, swords clank, joined by two axes parts.
The fake gore is the centerpiece of entertainment. Burning Lust is a secondary aspect. And rarely seen so many talented actors even eat the screen and embarrass themselves as body parts are attacked and men screaming in agony.
My strategy, to see this on DVD, was to move quickly through long periods of horsemen without saying a word through the field as well as segments of the battle tediously repetitive. Thus, this two-hour movie just feels like three.
A better strategy would be to make an ironclad promise to himself to avoid the "battleship".

Dungeons & Dragons: Neverwinter announced earlier this week. Taking place 100 years after the events of Neverwinter Nights and Neverwinter Nights 2, the world has been restored after a catastrophic event. While the city of Neverwinter was saved, was the victim of a massive volcanic eruption. As Neverwinter begins, the city is being rebuilt through the combined efforts of humans, dwarves and elves.
During our meeting with Atari at E3, we have a run-through of Neverwinter, but do not talk much about the plot or game play, Neverwinter is designed as a co-op online action RPG centered. Instead, we have an in depth look at the cryptic casting, promising creation tool that comes with the game. The cast allows players to create dungeons, zones and missions, all with an impressive amount of customization. Everything is built through a multi-screen interface complete window that looks and feels like a tool for creating RPG theme that would emerge from Apple or Adobe.
The center of the screen is the main "stage" where players build their dungeons, pulling pieces of a library panel to the right. The construction of a prison is a matter of dragging and dropping room templates and object in this phase. As in D & D: Heroes of Neverwinter, a Facebook game that RPGFan reported on earlier, there are two ways to customize the look of the dungeon: the choice of presets or go further. In one case, showed us a room template from a crypt. By default this crypt was a room full of columns, huge spider webs, an altar, cross-platform of stone, and orange flaming torches in the room. With a few clicks, the room changed from gray to a dark blue color palette with different textures, Green Lantern, and instead of the cobwebs were large decorative metal structures. We were told that all individual items in the rooms could be set to hand as well, but being able to quickly choose from predefined aspect that empower players to design their creations to your liking. Connecting multiple rooms is a matter of placing them side by side, and aligning your tickets. Although only the inner sawean created in the last game players will be able to create interior and exterior areas.
Once the basic structure is created, it's time to fill the area with the enemies, NPCs, and objectives. As with the rooms, adding a meeting enemy is as simple as choosing an enemy of a library - which suggests big Cryptic thanks to the expansive tradition and history associated with Dungeons & Dragons. We have seen a list with dozens of options, and many more are added and after its release.
From the dungeons and monsters do not accomplish much without a mission or objective, the next step is to establish how the chain of missions. Players can make use of Cryptic created NPCs in the world of Neverwinter principal, or create your own. Even things that one would not expect to do with these interactive tools. An example they gave us was that if a player wanted to create a quest giver whose friend was transformed into a light pole, a light pole in the city can become a point of interactive search to match the story told . The appearance of the NPCs again threw a library and can be customized as needed. Text search character and dialogue is entered, and these missions may have multiple options and paths of dialogue, all displayed in a flowchart interface type. Cryptic especially wanted to make conversation options open because "Fans RPG things talkie", a feeling of us all in the room agreed.
At any point in the process of creation, players can switch from 2D overhead "build" mode "test" mode and run through their areas as they will appear in the game.
