Synopsis:

In 689 AD after Emperor Tang Gao Zhong death. Empress Wu Zetian (Carina Lau) was soon to be coronated. She will become the first female empress in the history of China. To revere her glory moment, she build a huge Buddha statue. At that time there was some strange incident. One guest suddenly get burned.

Detective Jia and his subordinate Pei Donglai (Chao Deng) investigate this matter. Shatuo (Tony Leung Ka Fai), the head architect of this building, is investigated by them. He says that the burned man was struct by divine intervention, anyone remove the amulet was cursed. Detective Jia want to proof it, he touch the amulet. When they want to tell the queen about their investigation, suddenly Detective Jia get burned. Entire kingdom was panic. The Empress was worried that this incident will cause some trouble on her ceremony.

After getting some advice from the Imperial Chaplain, She ordered the Detective Dee (Andy Lau), whom she was arrested and imprisoned eight years before because of the treason, to investigate this strange case. And then the adventure of Detective Dee to investigate this case begin. In his investigation Detective Dee was accompanied by officer Shangguan (Li Bingbing), empress trusted maid, and Pei Donglai. His investigation filled by intrigue, deception and suspicion on each other.

Synopsis:

Ran has a nightmare about her mother dying, but starts to remember what really happened involving herself, her mother, and her father from 10 years ago. Meanwhile, people are being injured by a certain culprit. Conan soon realizes that these people all have some kind of relation to Mouri, and that they all had a number in their name corresponding to a playing card and were being targeted in order, from the king down to the ace. The police soon decide that a murderous card dealer who just got out of jail and wanted revenge on Mouri is behind it. However, as injuries become murders and it is a race to predict who the next victims will be, Conan soon finds that the truth is something completely different, while learning about the incident from 10 years ago in the process.

Synopsis:

Synopsis:
