Kunal Roy Kapur, one among the trio in the recent hit "Delhi Belly", is impressed by the response of adult comedy has received, but says his next task will not be acting like he is keen to live now.

"Even after a week, has not sunk in yet. Frankly, many of us know how you react to it. We are in awe of the reaction," said Kunal.

"I have the hope of leading a little more as it was heading in the past. My next project would be as a director. I am in talks with some producers and is expected to start later this year," the actor-director who made his directorial debut with "The President is" in 2009.

Siddharth Roy Kapur, with producer and CEO of UTV Motion Pictures is his older brother was supposed to produce the film, but the rules Kunal that option.

"I'm not approaching it (Siddharth). We do not operate that way. We try to keep our personal and professional life as separate as possible. We do everything by ourselves," said the 28-year-old .

"I'm honestly more interested in directing. When good roles come my way, and I really like, I just go by the performance," said Kunal, who made his acting debut in the telenovela "Just Mohabbat" in the year 2000.

Did you expect "Delhi Belly" to be a success?

"When we were shooting the film, expected to be much smaller than it is today. We thought it was kind of a niche film English you know, with little Hindi, but the film has emerged that type. In major metropolitan areas, we have bilingual class society, which really worked for the film. "
