Amitabh Bachchan has described as "Dobara Milegi Zindagi Na" (ZNMD) a "charming" and praised the film not only to the team, but Honey Irani, Farhan Akhtar's mother and Zoya to invest well in their children.

"It's a delicious film, presented in a different and novel way. Male bonding for a trip and some of the most natural performances seen recently. Farhan and Abhay Deol were a delight to see and of course Hrithik moved like a dream, "Big B has posted on his blog Bigb.bigadda.com.

Honey Irani was married to lyricist Javed Akhtar, but later divorced.
