Salal hydroelectric power in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir was closed on July 17 to check their operation.
"NHPC is taking Salal locking rod for tank discharge to verify the operation of Local Protection Back Breaker (LBB) in the House of Salal Power Protection on July 17 from 8.00 AM to 6.00 PM," a official spokesperson.
