Mausam, Pankaj Kapoor ambitious project with his son Shahid in the lead has completed its shooting. Shahid past two years was associated with the film. Sonam Kapoor is playing Shahid love interest in the film.

"Mosaic is final. It's a wrap for me in Mausam," Shahid said, suggesting that the film has ended. In the film Shahid plays the role of an Air Force officer. He had to take a month long training to prepare for his role. The actor has flown F-16 fighter aircraft and became the first Bollywood actor to do so.

Mausam ran behind his schedule. He had several arrests and incidents that had an effect on the progress films. He was scheduled to be released on July 22 this year, but the creators of the film was postponed to 09 September, once more before the date changed to September 16.
