After an impressive opening, starring Ajay Devgn action thriller "Singham" good business during the weekend and raised and Rs.44.2 crore in the domestic market and Rs.3.50 crore abroad.
Directed by Rohit Shetty and produced by Reliance Entertainment, the film is a remake of Tamil blockbuster "Singham."
The film also entered the list of the best national weekend of all time and is in place 10 with Rs.30.93 crore as collections of network.
"'Singham' has a wonderful opening all over the world. The film received a great response from the audience during the weekend and hope to continue his successful career around the world in the coming weeks abroad," said Sanjeev Lamba, managing director of Reliance Entertainment.
The film was released in 38 countries worldwide on Friday and will be released in 21 other countries in its second phase.
