Amid the scent of jasmine filling the air and relaxing piano symphony to create a special mood, designer Rohit Bal fashion shades down Synergy1 Delhi Couture Week on Monday night.

The designer said he showed his collection called "Shanti", while actor Arjun Rampal's sensational play added to the joy of the audience during the show.

Dressed in black suit with black velvet jacket and shades, Rampal entrance was greeted with loud applause as she walked the ramp with style and attitude in the creation of Rohit Bal.

"Walking by Rohit has always been wonderful. He is the one I discovered in a nightclub, gave me a great platform to start and gave me confidence. I have learned much about fashion and you can never say no to him," Rampal said after the show.

The actor, who had even "sensational" written on his shirt, looked embarrassed when he left his sunglasses as he walked down the ramp.

"Rohit was I asked to wear shades. He asked me to walk seriously and I take the curtains and in the process the shadows fell," said Rampal later.

"Fashion is fun and you have fun while being creative," he said.

Rohit Bal, meanwhile, wowed audiences with his collection "Shanti", which he said "has to do with peace, ecstasy and feeling good inside."

His collection shows his signature style - with floral motifs in different ways on the clothes. The collection looked rich with extensive use of zippers.

The color palatte including white, gold, black, blue and purple. The collection includes dresses, jackets, coats, lehengas.

As a designer Manish Malhotra, Bal also showed some collection for men that mostly include shewanis and coats.

In the end, Bal was seen dancing their way to join the models put on their costumes, and was later joined by Rampal. Both hail of jasmine flowers, petals of the guests and models.
